The festival of music, light and ideas. It had a rocky beginning in Sydney five years ago. Like everything new in this great state it is put down as a waste of money and time. “We don’t need it”, went up the cries. Why do we need another festival in Sydney?
It made me laugh this year, when people were actually making a fuss on wanting the lights left up after the festival has completed. Such is life in Sydney. I took a bunch of photos as always. I enjoyed it emensley this year, the only issue was finding dry nights to get out there. It rained a lot.
The highlight of this years festival was Kraftwerk. I was extremely happy about that, and they still have that wow factor after so many years. They really were the electronic pioneers.
I tend to like going early in the week, cause I’m not fond of crowds, and it’s much easier to take photos when there are less people around.
